Coeur de pirate_pop française.

Hello? I guess there`s no one listening....But I will keep on writing about music. This time, I will show you the canadian singer/ songwriter coeur de pirate (English: Heart of a pirate). Except for the fact, that the name is absolutely adorable, her music is very interesting as well. 
Her real name is Béatrice Martin and she`s born in Montreal/ Canada. Since she is 3, she plays the piano and her ongs are always accompanied by her wonderful playing. Her songs are edgy and the style is quite personal. I think, the melody of her songs is feathery and sweet but though the songs support a strong message. The lyrics are sometimes kind of philosophical, so it`s worth translating the songs if you don`t understand french. Her first album was released in 2008 and it`s sadly her own album yet.

True Grit_ Soundtrack

Have you seen the movie True Grit? It`s a great movie with Matt Damon and Jeff Bridges.
The Coen Brothers created a western like I `ve never seen one before (except for "Winnetou"). One big part in the movie is, as often or always, the music. The official soundtrack calls "The wicked flee". But we find the theme in the other songs as well. The music is composed by Carter Burwell who composed as well the music for the movies "A knights tale" or "The blind side". 
The music is vey emotioal and I found myself listening to it in the train. What I mean is, that it isn`t just only a soundtrack for the film called True Grit...It`s a soundtrack for the film called life ;)
Listen to the theme and you will know what I´ve meant. This is besides often the case; Sometimes you can´t describe music. Just listen!! :)

Having said this..Music is all around you. Alle you have to do is listen!

First post. Scared, don`t know what to do...

Well okay, I guess I just started to write a blog. Little step for the mankind but a big step for me or something. This is a blog about music. Don`t worry. It`s not about my favorite music, it`s about music like we feel them. Music for every emotion. Pop, classical, Rock, Alternative. I`ll try to describe a variety of music genres. Everything will be my opinion and if you don`t like this opinion...just write a comment. I hope you don`t mind my English....Just wanted it to be international :)
